  • nonstick cooking spray, for greasing, or paper cupcake liners
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 24 mini pies
  • frosting of choice

Instructions

  • Grease 2 12-cup cupcake tins with nonstick spray or line with paper liners.
  • Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of batter into each cupcake cup.
  • Place a mini pie in each cupcake cup, then top with another tablespoon of batter.
  • Bake according to the package instructions, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  • Frost as desired.
  • Enjoy!
