Smoked Bacon Lardon And Walnut Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

- •5 cups brussels sprouts, halved
- •4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- •1 cup smoked bacon lardons
- •3 garlic cloves, chopped
- •1 ½ cups walnuts, chopped
- •1 teaspoon honey
- •½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- •¼ cup olive oil
- •1 cup shallots, chopped
- •1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorn
Instructions
- Add the butter and oil to a frying pan on a medium heat and then add the chopped garlic and shallots, sweat for 4 minutes
- Add the bacon lardons and cook through for another 4 minutes
- Add the Brussels sprouts, walnuts, parmesan cheese and pepper and saute for 15 minutes or until the sprouts are soft to the bite
- Enjoy!
