Ingredients

  • 4 tea bags
  • 12 sprigs fresh mint
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cups cold water, or more to taste
  • 1 cup light rum, or more to taste

Instructions

  • Place tea bags and mint sprigs into a large pitcher. Pour in boiling water; steep for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and mint; before discarding, squeeze excess tea back into pitcher. Stir in sugar until dissolved; add orange juice and lemon juice. Pour in cold water and rum. Refrigerate at least 4 hours to overnight.
