Ingredients

- •1 lb ground lamb
- •1 egg
- •1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- •¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- •2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- •1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •½ teaspoon pepper
- •½ teaspoon cumin
- •1 tablespoon olive oil
- •1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- •1 jar masala simmer sauce, (and water, if the brand calls for it)
- •4 tablespoons feta cheese
- •cilantro, for garnish - optional
Instructions
- Mix the meatball ingredients together in a bowl. Form into 12 meatballs.
- Add the olive oil to the pot. To this, add the sliced onions and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add the meatballs and brown for another 5 minutes.
- Add the sauce (and water if called for). Simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve meatballs with sauce, topped with feta and cilantro.
