Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • ¾ cup lentils
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 cup fine grain bulgur
  • 1 salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • caramelized onion, for serving

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, pour the olive oil into a pot. Add the chopped onions, lentils, and water. Cover the pot and simmer the lentils.
  • Add the bulgur, salt, and pepper. Cover the pot and cook over low heat until the bulgur is cooked.
  • Serve with caramelized onions.
  • Enjoy!
