- •1 whole chicken, boneless, cubed
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1 tablespoon red chili powder
- •1 teaspoon red food coloring
- •1 teaspoon cumin powder
- •1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- •½ lemon
- •6 curry leaves, chopped
- •2 tablespoons gram flour
- •1 tablespoon corn flour
- •1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- •oil
- •3 tablespoons curd
- •1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add boneless chicken. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and ginger garlic paste.
- In a small bowl add curd and red food coloring. Whisk it until curd is smooth and add mixture to the marinated chicken. Mix and massage well.
- Add a few drops of oil to the marinated chicken. Let the marinated chicken rest overnight in the fridge.
- Add chopped curry leaves, gram flour and corn flour to the chicken. Mix it well before deep frying it.
- In a deep pan, add 2 cups (480 ml) of oil and heat on high.. Once the oil is hot, drop in the marinated chicken one at a time.
- Remove the chicken once cooked and crispy. Serve. .
