- •1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- •1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- •1 teaspoon paprika
- •½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- •1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- •kosher salt, to taste
- •freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- •1 lemon, zested
- •½ lemon, juiced
- •1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- •1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- •2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
- •4 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 baguette, halved lengthwise
- •1 wedge parmesan cheese, for grating
Instructions
- Turn the broiler on high. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, paprika, cayenne, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, lemon zest and juice, chives, thyme, parsley, and garlic until well-combined.
- Brush the butter mixture over both halves of the baguette. Generously grate Parmesan cheese over the bread. Transfer the baguette halves to the prepared baking sheet.
- Broil the bread for 2–3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Slice the bread crosswise into pieces and garnish with more parsley. Serve warm.
