- •2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- •2 cups fresh or frozen corn
- •1 cup half-and-half cream
- •⅓ cup chopped onion
- •⅓ cup chopped sweet red pepper
- •¼ cup all-purpose flour
- •3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- •½ cup cold water
- •½ teaspoon salt
- •¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- •1 cup Pure Farmland® Bacon, fully cooked, chopped
- •1 cup Farmland® Cubed Ham
- •1 sprig Snipped fresh dill
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine chicken broth, corn, cream, onion, and red pepper and bring to a boil.
- In a bowl, combine flour, water, salt, and pepper until smooth and gradually stir into the saucepan. Bring back to a boil and stir for approximately 2 minutes, or until thickened.
- Add bacon and ham. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until veggies are desired tenderness.
- Serve and garnish with dill if desired.
