- •8 oz cream cheese, softened
- •¼ cup sugar
- •1 teaspoon cinnamon
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1 egg
- •1 honeycrisp apple, or apple of your choice
- •1 cup whipping cream
- •¾ cup maple syrup
- •½ cup crushed pecan
- •graham cracker, crushed
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Hollow the apple with a melon baller.
- Fill ⅔ of hollowed apple with cream cheese mixture.
- Bake 25-30 minutes at 176˚C (350˚F).
- For maple pecan sauce, boil whipping cream and maple syrup until thick. Stir in pecans just before serving.
- Serve with crushed graham cracker (optional) and maple pecans sauce.
