Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 large skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.25 cup oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pinch white sugar
  • 2 small chile peppers, sliced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir in chile peppers. Pour in water. Cook until slightly thickened, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in basil just before serving.
