Ingredients
4 servings
- •2 granny smith apples
- •¼ cup maple syrup
- •1 ½ tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- •½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- •¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- •½ cup rolled oats
- •2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- •2 tablespoons raisin
- •2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- •2 tablespoons maple syrup
- •1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- •¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- •¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- •vanilla ice cream, for serving
- •caramel sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut the apples in half through the stems, then use a spoon to scoop out the core and seeds.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Brush the apples all over with the spice oil, spooning any remaining oil into the hollow cores.
- Set the apples, cut-side up, in the air fryer basket and cook until tender and the tops are golden brown, about 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the crumble topping: In a small bowl, mix together the oats, flour, raisins, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Spoon the crumble topping into the center of each apple half, dividing evenly. Air-fry for another 1–2 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown.
- Transfer the apples to plates and serve warm with vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a dusting of ground cinnamon.
- Enjoy!
