¾ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
•
2 large eggs
•
3 tablespoons lemon juice
•
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•
1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
•
2 tablespoons lemon juice
•
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan, or line it with parchment paper or nonstick aluminum foil.
Whisk flour, sugar, lemon zest, salt, and baking powder together in a large bowl. Add butter, eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla extract; stir until completely combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack until completely cool, about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix confectioners' sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest together for glaze in a bowl. Pour glaze over the brownies and leave at room temperature until glaze has hardened, about 20 minutes. Cut into 2-inch squares.
