Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup diced peeled apples
  • 0.5 cup cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Bring water and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add cranberries, apples, cider vinegar, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and cloves. Return to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer gently, stirring often, for 10 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into a mixing bowl.
  • Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the fruit. Let cool to room temperature before serving.
