Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup paneer, cubed
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • ⅓ cup carrot, chopped
  • ⅓ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon green chili sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • coriander leaf, optional, chopped

Instructions

  • For rice, fill 2 cups (480 ml) of water, with 1 tablespoon of oil, and a tablespoon of salt in a bowl. Then, add 1 cup (200 g) of rice to the water and cook.
  • For paneer, add 150 grams of cubed paneer in a small bowl and season with red chili powder, salt, and black pepper powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium and to that, add paneer and fry until golden brown. After stirring, remove the paneer and keep it aside.
  • In the same pan, add another 2 tablespoons of oil and finely chopped garlic. Stir the garlic until it's light brown. Then, add all vegetables and saute.
  • Add fried paneer with green chili sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar and mix well. Then, add cooked rice.
  • Next, add sugar, alt, and black pepper powder to taste.
  • Fry the rice mixture.
  • Serve warm.
