- •4 tablespoons BBQ sauce, divided
- •1 whole wheat pita bread
- •1 handful shredded mozzarella cheese
- •1 handful red onion, sliced
- •fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce until well-coated.
- Place the pita bread on the prepared baking sheet and spread the remaining 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce on top. Scatter the chicken over the pita, then top with shredded mozzarella and red onion.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the chicken is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro, then slice and serve.
