  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Combine chicken broth, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until flavors combine, about 5 minutes.
  • Whisk together water and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour into the saucepan; stir. Simmer until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
