- •12 saltine crackers, crushed

- •1 teaspoon salt
- •2 cups dry bread stuffing mix
- •0.5 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Make the casserole: Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add squash and onions; cook and stir until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, eggs, crackers, ranch dressing mix, and salt. Spread squash mixture into a medium baking dish.
- Make the topping: Mix stuffing and melted butter together in a bowl. Sprinkle over squash mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until firm and lightly browned, 20 to 30 minutes.
