- •4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- •salt and pepper to taste
- •1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
- •⅓ cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in a nonporous glass dish or bowl. Poke several holes in chicken with a fork; season with salt and pepper. Pour salad dressing over chicken; toss to coat. Cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, discard excess marinade, and sauté chicken in hot oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 4 to 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
