Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese
  • salt, to taste
  • 5 cups broccoli, cooked and chopped
  • 1 ¼ cups pasta, cooked

Instructions

  • Prepare the roux by adding the butter, flour, garlic and onion to a saucepan and mixing on low heat until thick.
  • Gradually add the cream to the roux and stir until it is a thick consistency.
  • Add the cheeses and salt to your liking.
  • Continue to mix the sauce until the cheese is melted and smooth.
  • Add the cheese sauce to your broccoli and pasta and mix until everything is coated in the sauce. (Leftover sauce can be kept in a jar in the refrigerator for 1 week)
  • Serve warm.
