- •1 ½ cups split black lentils
- •½ small onion, chopped
- •2 cloves garlic, chopped
- •2 teaspoons white sugar
- •2 teaspoons kosher salt
- •2 teaspoons curry powder, or more to taste
- •1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- •1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, chopped
- •½ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Combine water, lentils, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, curry powder, turmeric, and ginger root in slow cooker.
- Cook on High for 5 hours. Stir cream into lentils until warmed through.
