Ingredients
4 servings
- •1 pound ground beef
- •1 cup dry bread crumbs
- •1 small finely chopped onion
- •1 tablespoon minced garlic
- •1 (1 ounce) package dry French onion soup mix
- •0.5 cup Italian dressing
- •2 large eggs
- •2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
Instructions
- Mix beef, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, and soup mix together in a large bowl with your hands until well blended; it will be quite dry. Mix in Italian dressing and eggs until thoroughly combined. Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Pinch off just enough meat mixture to fit comfortably inside your palm, then roll it into ball. Repeat to form remaining meatballs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches if necessary and flipping often, cook meatballs in the hot skillet until browned and no longer pink in the centers, 8 to 10 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
