  • 6 ounces fresh tomatillos - husked, rinsed, and halved
  • 1 large ripe avocado - halved, seeded, and flesh scooped out of peel
  • 0.25 cup packed cilantro leaves
  • 0.5 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced serrano chiles, or to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place tomatillos into a food processor. Add avocado, cilantro, lime juice, serrano pepper, and salt. Process until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, then transfer to a serving bowl.
