  • 1.5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.75 cup cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; remove from heat.
  • Whisk together brown sugar, white sugar, mustard, egg, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk in vinegar until well combined. Stir mixture into melted butter in the saucepan.
  • Stir sauce over medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes more.
