- •1 lemon, sliced
- •freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Fill a pan with enough water to submerge the salmon fillet. Bring the water to a simmer.
- Add the salt, peppercorns, thyme, and lemon to the simmering water, then gently add the salmon fillet. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the poaching liquid and season with salt and ground black pepper. Serve with more lemon for squeezing.
