Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Beat together sugar, butter, and eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed. Blend in flour. Mix in milk, 1/2 cup at a time. Add 1 cup coconut flakes and vanilla; mix well.
- Pour filling into unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle top with 1 tablespoon coconut flakes.
- Bake in the preheated oven until filling is set, 40 to 50 minutes.
