  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 2 (10 ounce) bags fresh spinach leaves
  • 8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium heat until mixture stops bubbling. (This allows water in the butter to evaporate.) Add garlic; cook and stir until it begins to brown, about 2 minutes. Add spinach; cook and stir until leaves are dark and about 1/4 of their original size, about 5 minutes.
