- •0.25 cup butter, melted
- •1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •0.5 teaspoon ground mace
- •2 pounds butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 1/2 inch slices
- •2 large apples - cored, and cut into 1/2 inch slices
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Stir together brown sugar, butter, flour, salt, and mace in a bowl.
- Arrange squash in an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with slices of apple, then sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until squash is tender, 50 to 60 minutes.
