  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 large peaches, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 drop vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place butter into a cast iron skillet and place into the oven until melted.
  • Gently toss peach slices with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until well coated.
  • Beat milk, flour, eggs, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl until well combined but a little lumpy. Pour batter into the hot skillet and arrange sugared peaches over top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until set in the middle, about 20 minutes.
