- •1 cup chopped onion
- •1 teaspoon minced garlic
- •1 (28 ounce) can CONTADINA® Crushed Tomatoes
- •1 (15 ounce) can CONTADINA® Tomato Sauce
- •1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
- •0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- •0.5 teaspoon dried basil
- •0.5 teaspoon salt
- •0.5 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- Cook sausage, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sausage is browned and crumbly and onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, oregano, basil, salt, and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
