- •12 oz broccoli florets
- •½ white onion, sliced
- •1 ½ lb flank steak
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
- •4 cups cooked wild rice, for serving
- •1 ½ teaspoons salt
- •1 ½ teaspoons pepper
- •1 teaspoon garlic powder
- •1 teaspoon paprika
- •1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Make the steak seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder until combined.
- Arrange the broccoli, onion, and flank steak on a baking sheet. Drizzle the broccoli and onion with the olive oil, then season everything with the steak seasoning.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes, or until the internal temperature of steak reaches 145°F (65°C) for medium, or your desired temperature. Let the steak rest 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with with wild rice. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
