One-Pan Flank Steak & Veggies

Ingredients

  • 12 oz broccoli florets
  • ½ white onion, sliced
  • 1 ½ lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups cooked wild rice, for serving
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Make the steak seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder until combined.
  • Arrange the broccoli, onion, and flank steak on a baking sheet. Drizzle the broccoli and onion with the olive oil, then season everything with the steak seasoning.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes, or until the internal temperature of steak reaches 145°F (65°C) for medium, or your desired temperature. Let the steak rest 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with with wild rice. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
