  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded apple
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 4 1/2-x 8 1/2-inch loaf pan.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, oil, eggs, apple, walnuts, and vanilla in a large bowl until dry ingredients are just moistened. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
