  • cooking spray
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Mix flour and sugar together in a large bowl. Pour in beer and continue to mix, first with a wooden spoon and then with your hands, until well combined; batter will be sticky. Pour into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, 50 to 60 minutes.
