- •3 cups day-old bread cubes
- •0.33333334326744 cup raisins
- •1.5 cups unsweetened applesauce
- •0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- •1.5 cups milk
- •0.5 cup white sugar
- •0.25 cup buttermilk
- •2 eggs, beaten
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1 dash ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spread bread cubes and raisins in a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Mix applesauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a small bowl. Pour mixture over bread.
- Mix milk, sugar, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract together in another bowl and pour over bread. Sprinkle top with a dash of cinnamon.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
