Teriyaki Salmon Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets salmon
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 oz ginger, chopped
  • 1 red chile, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • neutral oil, as needed
  • 2 oz honey
  • 1 handful sesame seed
  • sesame seed, to taste
  • sliced green onion, to taste
  • sliced red chile, to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon into bite-size cubes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, lemon juice, ginger, chilli, garlic, and sea salt.
  • Add the salmon to the marinade, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Pour in the marinade and add the honey and sesame seeds. Cook until bubbling and starting to thicken, then add the salmon and cook for a couple of minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  • Transfer the salmon bites to a serving platter and garnish with more sesame seeds, green onions, red chiles. Insert a toothpick into each salmon bite.
  • Enjoy!
