  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup finely diced onion
  • 0.5 cup white wine

Instructions

  • Place tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a food processor; blend until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until slightly softened, about 2 minutes.
  • Stir in blended tomato sauce and white wine.
  • Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
