- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •1 cup chopped onion
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •2 stalks celery, chopped
- •1.5 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
- •1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- •2 teaspoons dried parsley
- •1 teaspoon dried basil
- •1 teaspoon dried oregano
- •salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion, garlic and celery and cook until soft. Pour in tomatoes and tomato paste, stir, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, basil, oregano, salt and pepper; simmer 15 minutes, uncovered. Serve.
