  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 0.5 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add kielbasa and cook until brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Add beef broth, water, and condensed soup, then stir in cabbage, onion, and bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until flavors are well blended, about 45 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through before serving, 2 to 3 more minutes.
