Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas, 3 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 ½ tablespoons tahini sauce
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 ice cubes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cooked and cut into small pieces
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon all-spice
  • ¼ cinnamon
  • ¼ cardamom powder
  • pine nut, paprika, and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Blend all the hummus ingredients except for the olive oil together in the food processor for 2 minutes, then mix everything with a spoon and blend for another minute.
  • Add the olive oil and mix with a spoon.
  • Drizzle olive oil in a skillet and cook the meat on medium heat with the spices.
  • Put the hummus on a plate and top with meat pieces. Garnish with paprika, pine nuts, and parsley and serve with crudites or pita wedges.
