Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons semolina
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup oil, any kind

Instructions

  • Mix the wheat flour, sugar, semolina, mashed banana, and milk in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle the fennel seeds into the batter.
  • Warm the oil in a frying pan. Scoop out the batter and place the batter in the hot oil in any shape you desire. Fry it till golden brown.
  • Once both sides are cooked, take them out and place them on a plate. You can also line the plate with a paper towel.
  • Fry the rest of the malpoas in the same way and stack them on the plate together.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes, then serve.
  • Enjoy!
