  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons white wine
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant but not brown, about 2 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to release their juices, about 2 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar and wine; cook until mushrooms are tender, about 2 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
